Are there any pre-requisites for the Advocis Core Curriculum Program for CFP® and QAFP™ Certification?

No, there are currently no pre-requisites. Anyone can enrol in the Advocis Core Curriculum Program.

How long do I have to complete the Advocis Core Curriculum Program for CFP® and QAFP™ Certification?

You have four years to complete the Advocis Core Curriculum from the time you first register in the program.

What do I need to send to FP Canada in order to write my exam?

In order to write the CFP exam, you must email your transcript for both the core curriculum and the advanced curriculum program to FP Canada™

What are some additional resources available that I can use to study for the CFP examination?

The CFP Exam Review Tool is now available for candidates to access additional practice questions. This tool is designed to follow the format and content structure of the actual CFP examination with a combination of independent multiple-choice questions and constructive response case studies.
