LLQP Exam Regulations

Canadian Insurance Participant Registry (CIPR)

Once you are registered into the LLQP, Advocis will invite you to register for CIPR, a national registry where you will store your information. Once you have passed all of the certification exams within the program, Advocis will update your CIPR profile confirming your Certification. Your provincial exam provider will request your CIPR number to confirm certification in order for you to book your exams.

IMPORTANT: You will have one year to successfully complete the Advocis LLQP from the date of your enrolment. If you do not successfully complete the Advocis LLQP during the one-year period, you will be required to re-enrol and complete all modules again.

LLQP Insurance License Provincial/Territorial Exam

Once Advocis confirms your certification, you are required to register to write the provincial/territorial exam(s) with your provincial/territorial exam provider within one year of certification. When attending the provincial/territorial exam session, candidates will be allowed to take the exam only if they have indicated their CIPR ID at the time of the exam booking and their provincial provider verifies certification from their CIPR profile.

IMPORTANT: You have one year to successfully complete all provincial/territorial exams from the date of your certification. If you do not successfully complete all provincial/territorial exams during the one year period, you will be required to enrol in the Advocis LLQP again and complete all modules.

If you have additional questions regarding the Provincial Exam, please contact the exam center in your province.
