Advocis Education FAQ

You can register online using the online enrolment form. Once your registration has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email containing information regarding your registration.

Advocis students can rest assured that the security for our site is very strong with 128-bit encryption, and that their personal information is safe.

In addition, as a result of recent rulings and decisions made by the Privacy Commission, a member or student must advise Advocis of the circumstances under which their information can be distributed to and shared with employers and third-party suppliers, if it is to be shared at all. Any Advocis member in good standing is eligible to receive member pricing when signing-up for a program that offers this benefit.

Payments can be made by VISA, MasterCard and, American Express. You’ll need to provide both your card number and its expiry date. Applications will only be processed once full payment is received.

Online access to your course and materials will be available within 2 business days after your registration has been processed.

If requested, professionally printed course material is available (for a printing fee) and will be shipped to you within 5 to 10 business days (regular shipment) after your registration has been processed. An expedited delivery service (within 3 business days) is available for an additional fee. Some courses also require you to obtain textbooks that are available at an additional cost. Please see the relevant program web page for more information on required textbooks.

As an alternative to professionally printed course material, please note that course material can be downloaded in PDF format.

The Advocis Appeals Policy allows candidates to request a re-mark of their assignment or exam if they believe their result is not accurate. The policy applies to narrative response assessments only; therefore, only appeals for CLU 257 assessments will be considered. Only candidates with a “Fail” result can request a re-mark. Re-mark request must be requested within 4 weeks following the release of result.

You can access your transcript by logging into your Advocis Dashboard and clicking on ‘Designation Course History’ on the right-hand side menu.

You may only take a module or course once per year for it to be counted towards your Institute Designation CE requirements. Check with your regulatory body for specific rules.
